Here goes...!

Hello Brokeass Babes and Cheap Chicks!

I'm Jrex, and I am REALLY new to not only this blogging thing, but to this whole being feminine thing, too. One thing I am most definitely NOT new to, thank you Mom, is being CHEAP! I'm still learning and exploring this girly world, so I had an idea to share my experiences as I go and maybe, hopefully, help out some other brokeass babes or cheap chicks searching for a style.

As I explore the world of fashion, I find myself absolutely refusing to pay more than I must for anything. If I find a top I like, I will search high and low for a cheaper way to buy it. I'm actually getting quite good at that, and I've found several places that consistently satisfy my need to spend the least amount of money possible on the maximum number of pretty frilly things. I want to share those places with you!

There are some serious drawbacks to cheap makeup, but sometimes they turn out to not only have a silver lining but sometimes to even be the silver lining. Finding a great deal is fun, but getting a product home and finding out that it doesn't even meet 1$ worth of expectations is crushing. There is always a trick, though, to getting your money's worth and even sometimes coming out ahead, with a better outcome than even some designer stuff. These tricks and deals I will also share with you!



I'll introduce myself properly in the next post, but there are a few things that you should know about me and my plans for this blog:

• I absolutely do not have ANY connection to, contract or deal with, or incentive (financial or otherwise) to feature any product, shop, brand, designer, company/corporation, or anything else I may ever photograph, video, describe, or otherwise post about.
• In the event that I ever did acquire any of the above, I would disclose such immediately and in no uncertain terms.
• I don't make anything myself! I buy all of the clothes and makeup you'll see here, unless explicitly (and likely quite excitedly) stated.
• Anything I ever did make would be the most ridiculously easy task, a child could do it.
• I do not claim to know anything about fashion, makeup, or techniques! I have no formal education or professional experience in the fields of fashion, fashion design, clothing production, makeup artistry or production, or any related field. I'm only sharing what I've discovered through life experience, practice, and/or trial and error.
• I'll link to every product that I mention whenever possible.
• I don't like to link to ebay because the links expire so quickly, unfortunately, but you can almost always find anything that I link there much cheaper than whatever I've had to post.
• I do not work in a business formal or business casual environment. I can wear whatever I want (within reason) to work, so I am really unfamiliar with shopping for those items. I can still help with after work and weekend attire as well as makeup, though.
• I can be pretty verbose. Please slap me if I get too wordy!
