Product Review: Makeup Remover - VIDEO!

After I clowned up my face in my eyeshadow trick video, I went ahead and kept on filming. This time I show you the cheapest makeup remover I've found to date. I even compare it to some expensive stuff! I'm gettin' purdy good at this bloggin' thing, if I do say so m'self!

Jump schmump...

In which our faithful hero risks life and limb for your edutainment!

This is the Wet n Wild Eye Makeup Remover Liquid. You can see even in the reviews on the linked page that IT BURNS. But it also gets the job done, rather well, I might add, for two bucks. The fumes could probably strip wallpaper, but it actually somehow doesn't feel too harsh on my skin; it's more the pain in my eyes and the potential loss of vision that I rather dislike.

The other product I use, the expensive crappy crap that I mentioned in the wash yer face post, is Estee Lauder Soft Clean Silky Hydrating Lotion (sheesh, that's a mouthful!). I can't find a good price on it because everything I've seen has varied wildly. You can purchase sample sizes from ebay for pretty cheap, still not as cheap as the Wet n Wild, but affordable if you don't mind a tiny bottle. Or you can buy it 'officially' from a department store for ...highway robbery. This stuff is very mild, but as I've said, it's also generally very expensive and not something I'd spring for myself.

I don't actually recommend that anyone who can manage to cough up the extra five bucks for basically anything else in the drugstore should resort to the moonshine that is the Wet n Wild; there are plenty of products for $5.99 that probably won't blind you. But my cheap ass will probably use it until it's gone.

There's got to be some trick to this stuff. I'll find it yet! And you know I'll share it if when I do!
