UPDATE: Eyeshadow trick!

Soooooooooo I got a little accidentally drunk last night, and since I was annoying the hell out of my poor boyfriend with my loud, obnoxious drunken antics, I decided to leave him alone to go hide out in the bathroom and make a drunk makeup video! That video is coming, I promise, but that's not what this post is about. (sorry!)

In the meantime, I went to slePASSED OUT in my makeup last night. Remember how I said the Jumbo Stick keeps your shadow on and looking like new literally until you wash it off? Here's proof!

Pics and details after that weird jump-thing!

Yeah, I broke my own rule and slept in my makeup. Well! I couldn't find my makeup remover! You know... where it always is... always...

I put on the makeup about 9 or 10pm last night, passed out God knows when, woke up with it still on, and then made the consicous decision - FOR YALL - to leave it on til I couldn't stand it anymore. I did this to see how it fared so that I could take pictures - FOR YALL. Well, it held up. Over 24 hours later, through sleeping, sweating, eating, editing videos, walking the dog, and just general living life, this is the result:

Not bad!

Forgive the ucky uggo skin and all that. I did sleep in my makeup and wear it all day, ya know.

But there you have it! And keep in mind that this is poorly, drunkenly applied, too! I vaguely remember being extremely lazy (surprise?) about it and really not applying complete or thick coverage.

Using the e.l.f. Jumbo Eyeshadow Stick under your powder eyeshadow not only gives you a shimmery texture, a boost to pigment, and some gorgeous color of its own, but it also makes your eyeshadow last FOREVER!

Oh, the liquid eyeliner held up surprisingly well, too! I'm wearing the 1$ e.l.f. Essential Liquid Eyeliner in silver with black on top of it. It chipped off a tiny bit in a couple places where I had scratched at it or something during the day, but you really can't tell without some close scrutiny. The eyeliner stayed in place not only through sleeping passed out face down but throughout the day as well. All in all, I'm very impressed with these extremely cheap products.

This trick would be priceless to use when going to, say, Burning Man or Glastonbury (sigh, I wish!), or maybe camping (if you're so posh you glam up for the great outdoors), or any other place/event where you wouldn't have free access to a lighted mirror and all your makeup for a couple days. For me, I'd just use the Jumbo Stick under some cheap, bold powdered eyeshadow and add a couple creative liquid liners before heading off, and pack a compact of face powder and a lipstick (probably the 1$ e.l.f. Luscious Liquid Lipstick) to go, and I'm confident that I'd look freshly made up the entire time!

Oh and LOLLLL, the drunk makeup video... That's COMING! I'm still working on editing my next upcoming video. Stupid software keeps crashing on me, and on top of that I'm still learning. But I'm not giving up or anything. I will persevere. I will survive. I will post videos.
